film “The Passion of the Prado”

I watched this film. It tells us about the collections of the Spanish Museum “Prado“.

The museum’s collection contains some of the most complete collections of Bosch, Velazquez, Goya, Murillo, Zurbaran and El Greco.

Most of all I liked the pictures:

– “Garden of Earthly Delights” by Jerome Bosch

I liked this picture for its bright atmosphere and interesting plot. The whole picture is filled with bright, colorful characters, perfectly describing paradise.

Q-Bosch

– “Jupiter devouring his children” by Francisco Goya

I found this creation good because I find something discturbung and scary about it. Something like a warning.

Saturno-devorando-a-un-hijo-1819-Goya

– “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo Da Vinci

I liked this masterpiece for the same reasons as most people: a relatively simple face, but impressive. It seems to be nothing complicated, but you can it admire forever.

– “The Adoration of the Shepherds” by Peter Rubens

This picture was loved by me due to its close atmosphere. It’s funny to watch a crowd crowding over a baby. I feel this picture’s atmosphere.

– “Jacob’s Ladder” by Ribera José

I liked this picture with its design and atmosphere. Here everything seems to me half gloomy, half bright. I find it comforting.
